Why Im Searching For New Roles

Having built and exited my own business and spent the past year working consultatively across multiple clients, what I am looking for now is a permanent senior commercial role where I can apply the full depth of what I have developed over twenty years within a single organisation. Self-employment was never the destination it was the next stage of a career that has always been defined by progression and the pursuit of broader capability. I achieved that. Now the ambition is to bring everything I have built across commercial strategy, procurement, business development, pricing, product, and marketing into one place and drive long-term transformation that a consultancy engagement simply cannot deliver in the same way.

What makes my experience genuinely transferable is that the commercial principles I have applied throughout my career are not industry-specific. Margin discipline, pricing architecture, supplier negotiation, route to market strategy, team building, and category leadership work the same way whether you are selling tiles, consumer goods, building materials, or something else entirely. The sector changes. The commercial fundamentals do not. I have proven that across manufacturing, distribution, ecommerce, and international trade, and I am confident in my ability to apply those skills wherever the right opportunity exists.
