Career Highlights

Commercial leadership across B2B & B2C, distribution, and product-led businesses, driving margin recovery, pricing discipline, and commercial transformation at scale.

International Market Entry:

Led UK market entry strategies for large international manufacturers covering commercial infrastructure design, pricing architecture, channel development, and route-to-market planning across Europe and Asia. Delivered end-to-end commercial frameworks directly with C-suite teams.

Building Commercial Teams:

Recruited to establish a UK commercial operation from the ground up for an expanding international manufacturer. Within 12 months, contributed to a c.£500k turnover increase, built and led a team of up to 10 staff, and delivered a fully functioning pricing and e-commerce platform.

Global Procurement:

Led global sourcing strategy across Europe, Asia, and South America at Johnson Tiles for nearly a decade. Negotiated long-term supply and NPD agreements, implemented a supplier audit and compliance framework where none previously existed, and delivered sustained cost reduction to support margin objectives.

National Accounts & Major Retailers:

Managed blue-chip national accounts including B&Q, Topps, and Travis Perkins with revenue responsibility of c.£20m. Built deep commercial grounding in pricing strategy, category management, and customer economics that underpins every leadership role since.

Category Leadership:

As Head of Product,  I led category strategy across a large-scale portfolio, spanning a 50/50 mix of manufactured and sourced products across both retail and trade channels. By introducing a structured category management framework grounded in sales and margin data, I brought strategic purpose to the range, resolved cannibalisation between sourced and manufactured products, and delivered measurable margin improvement across the portfolio.

Business Ownership:

Building a business from a home-based start-up to £1.2m turnover across dual B2B and B2C channels, with global sourcing and a multi-site logistics operation, required a breadth of commercial discipline. The trade sale exit in 2024 was the natural conclusion to that chapter, and the experience informs everything I do as a commercial leader today.

Experience Across Markets & Geographies

Throughout my career is the breadth of markets I have operated across — not just geographically, but in terms of the commercial environments themselves. Big box retail, international retail, new housing development, commercial specification, and construction projects in the Middle East
