Following the successful sale of a previous business and completion of several strategic consulting engagements, the focus is now on securing a permanent senior commercial role within a single organisation.

The past few years have provided three distinct commercial perspectives: corporate leadership, business ownership, and independent consulting. Each environment required different disciplines, yet reinforced the same principle that sustained commercial performance is built through long-term ownership, clarity of pricing architecture, disciplined cost management, and accountable leadership.

Consulting has delivered measurable impact across multiple businesses, including margin recovery, supplier renegotiation, product range optimisation and international market entry strategy. However, short-term engagements limit the ability to embed long-term commercial frameworks and fully realise operational potential.

The next role will provide the opportunity to apply that commercial experience within one organisation, driving structured transformation over a sustained period rather than through interim intervention.

The ideal environment is a product-led manufacturing or distribution business requiring:

• Commercial restructuring or performance stabilisation
• Strong supplier management and cost engineering
• Product portfolio rationalisation
• Scalable commercial infrastructure

Experience spans mid-market and growth-stage organisations, including founder-led and private equity-backed businesses. Most effective where hands-on leadership, operational clarity and commercial accountability are required.
